Nicely updated place and not expensive. Good staff good food and a good nigjt rest after a busy day. Its always a pleasure to be here . Rooms are clean and nice ! Had a room this time with a spectacular view !! Did have dinner a la carte yesterday night ! A five star !! I will keep on recommend people for staying here ! Keep it up
The hotel was very clean, especially the rooms. Good selection of channels, very responsive thermostat, great water pressure. Food was great. The eggs for breakfast were amazing
The worst ever! Roaches came out of the AC vent twice during my night here. I paid for a pool room and received a roof view of the hotels air conditioner units.... I asked if I could take the stairs to my room as I was claustrophobic and have anxiety with elevators. The man at guest services said "you'll be fine it's only one flight up " and chuckled. I guess not understanding the full realm of claustrophobia would make one think "it's okay" but to laugh about it and brush it off was unprofessional. Clearly there were other options.... the bathroom had hair in the tub and on the toilet- yes the hair from certain regions is what I'm referring to. Not a great choice for a stay. I took photos of all the issues- waiting to see how they respond to my email
Not too much went right with this stay. I got checked in and was informed that the bar/restaurant would not open til 5:30 pm. I had to leave the premises to have an adult beverage and supper. That was a minor inconvenience compared to my NON- Airport Shuttle pick-up at MIA. I was at the curb waiting only 10 minutes when my shuttle approached. I waved at the driver and he proceeded to come over to the curb. Thinking he was stopping, I turned to get my bags and he then just drove off! I waited one hour and forty minutes and still no second shuttle...I finally paid a cabbie to take me to the hotel at a cost of $35 plus tip and when I got there, the shuttle was sitting there...no driver in sight...I was too mad to even address it, just got my vehicle and left. Sorry Holiday Inn. You totally lost my business...
Great place but traffic sucks around there. Mall is a few minute walk. Breakfast wasn't very good. Rooms were big and nice. Staff was good.
